Naan

Ingredients

  • 450 g flour
  • 25 g (2 Tbsp) canola oil
  • 65 g (1/4 cup) plain full fat greek yogurt
  • 7 g instant yeast
  • 10 g (2 tsp) sugar
  • 10 g (2 tsp) kosher salt
  • 4 g (1 tsp) baking powder
  • 240 g (1 cup) whole milk, warmed

Directions

  1. Dump everything into a stand mixer and knead with a dough hook until smooth.
  2. Let rise until doubled in size (60-90 minutes).
  3. Divide dough into 12 pieces, rolled into balls.
  4. Roll out dough balls to 5x8 inch ovals.
  5. Cook Naan in a hot cast iron pan and brush with butter and herbs if desired.
  6. Enjoy!
